The second dress is very Julie Carp!
Actually, taking style inspiration from Julie is probably a good idea as she wears the 50's vintage look very well indeed
I wouldn't wear a petticoat to a wedding. Heck i didn't even wear one to my own wedding! I put it on, couldn't sit on the toilet before i left so knew i wouldn't be comfortable sitting in the car with it on!
Ended up leaving it in the hotel room and went without. I couldn't imagine sitting through a wedding in one! Especially if its a small place and everyones cramped together.
It fits perfectly and makes my chest look great! I managed to get the zip done up by turning it round then putting my arms in after turning it the right way round. I would advise if you're buying an Ophelia dress to buy the next size up. They are lovely dresses and are really good quality cotton.

That's a lovely dress.
I hope you enjoy wearing it.:)
I love vintage, especially 50s (although I do wear some 40s inspired stuff as well) and I love Lindy Bop's clothes. Don't have any Ophelias yet but I have a couple of Hettys which I adore and look amazing with petticoats.
Thanks. My Lindy bop one came very scrunched up and I'm scared to iron it! I'll try on a cool heat but after I ironed a synthetic blouse and burnt a hole in it I'm wary! The Boolavard ones are very much cheaper!
