Just sods law it had to be on a Monday at 9pm as Tuesday would have been better as there is less of a clash - at least we have the option of the +1 service although I reckon I will watch it direct on ITV1 HD.
This turned out to be one of my favorite programmes. The episode of the stabbing was one of the best acted on tv I thought.
It was just effortless acting on their part, every one of them.
I notice that this series will have eight episodes as opposed to six last time. As someone else mentioned, Tuesday would have been a much better night to put it on, I think tv is rubbish then.
Not a lover of crime dramas but people kept saying how good it was so i catched up with the recent repeats on ITV3 and i have been hooked. I can't wait. Jones & Sharpe are brilliant together.
Good news for some, bad news for others. Sadly, I'm in the latter group. Still, I don't begrudge those who enjoyed the first series another hour a week of feminist propaganda.
ps..that is meant good-humouredly, but my smilies aren't working.
Having it on Monday suits me as on Sundays I'm currently juggling NASCAR racing,Sea Patrol,Hawaii Five-0,NCIS:LA,True Blood and Criminal Intent (now finished, but new episodes of Special Victims Unit back next week) so I can do without another show to watch on Sundays at the mo.
I hadn't seen this programme before , but I picked up the last three or so on ITV3. It was a bit difficult to follow as I didn't know the back story of the barrister Nick Savage. It does look good though and I assume there will be a totally different story when it returns ( next week is it ? )
Another one that is looking forward to the return. I liked it last year because of its feel (if that makes sense). I liked the way it was indirectly and subtley funny as well (I found anyway).
