Yeah, BBC2 has hours and hours of the World Track Cycling Champs next week. Dunno why they bother, we will probably get our usual single sympathy bronze medal.

Not for Team GB they don't, unless it's for failing, lets face it they will be last in every event.

I assume we have some wind ups. I see GB came second at last years World Cycling!!
And also see we came Third in the Athletics,,,plenty of gong around.
Really should check before asking next time...

I think you may be vaguely catching on :) It is largely a wind up of the long gone absent OP. The thread as a whole, more especially during the Olympics, is generally a superb nostalgic and pretty funny read if folk are ever feeling down and want to read back about how luckily our rubbish team kept winning gold upon gold over clearly more deserving competitors.

But we will not entertain serious discussions about GB prospects here ( try elsewhere for that ), because most folk here just know GB are generally rubbish ;)

Gawd, how rubbish must the opposition be

I guess many other nations' athletes are still taking time out after the Olympics, where they exposed us as so rubbish.

only 4 golds, which granted was joint 2nd highest number, but out of all those events it's a disgrace...
