so I was reading some where Joey Essex said he had a text message from someone asking to buy his toothbrush randomly , so was just wondering if anyone else has an strange or random messages?

..i did have one on another forum from someone attesting to be female,asking if i wanted to see her beef curtains..

Not text message but I once advertised something on ebay and had a message from a bloke saying "I will bid £50 for this item if when I win it you will also enclose a photograph of you in the nude"

I got this text message at 07:14 on Monday 25 November 2013, I don't know if it was somebody connected with the media or somebody from the authorities, but that day was the day of the bomb in Northern Ireland. It's still in my phone and reads

Nick, in case it comes up today, Belfast device was viable and made up of 60kg of home made explosive. It only partially detonated. SOS will issue media lines later. Aimed at economic target. Call if you need more detail

I just text replied with "I don't think this was meant for me!"

I've had a couple, I have a feeling my mobile number was a recycled one.

The most errrm..interesting was a random asking to send a photo of my tits. Being a hairy chested guy, I obliged and got back a "WTF, who is this?". I replied "You should know, you texted me and I gave you what you asked for". Never heard from them again
