    I used to like Norris years back. He's been a devious rat for a while though, feasting on other people's misfortunes and rubbing salt into their wounds - pathetic weasel. I guess this whole Rita-Dennis-Norris thing is an attempt to soften him up a bit and show us that he is capable of doing some good.

    Dennis is an absolute idiot but I can't wait to see him show Norris what for on Wednesday - he's had it coming for a while tbh. ;-)

    As a character I like Norris, his bizarre friendship with Mary makes me laugh, tho its been a while since those 2 have had a storyline. He's got an old school corrie vibe about him which i like. he would be a nightmare local shopkeeper in real life however !

    Yes, I like Norris. I think they're misusing him though.....he's merely the local gossip who everyone seems to despise for it. I'd like to see a strong storyline for him and one that doesn't just involve him snooping on other people or giving out about them behind their back.

    Yes but he is far to smug where Dennis is concerned. Yes I believe he loves Rita but at he same time would never want Dennis around anyway. Even f he was behaved.

    Thanks. His redeeming feature was when Hillman was exposed. He deserved all the sorry pleas he got. Why Hillman never wanted to kill Norris is beyond me?

    He's an OTT, nosey, judgemental man and he's like everything else in Corrie - good in small doses. And thankfully that's what we get. Norris is ok.

    Every soap needs a 'Norris' - let's be truthful!!
    There is always a busybody about the place......Amy Turtle, Hilda Ogden, Betty Eagleton, we've finally got a male gossip in town!!
    Don't spoil Norris and make him 'normal', it wouldn't be right.

    The same goes for Mad Mary - love her as she is!!

    Let's keep some soap-characters as they should be! Sod reality!! :D
