Look at that face. What kind of scum would shoot a dog?

Many years back one of our cats was shot. We thought he had been knocked down until we went to the vets. The shots were left in him and you could feel them when you stroked him :(

He lived to a good age tho.

I loved Reg .. What a face :D I love seeing the older dogs getting homes.

:( Lacey had healed remarkably well as you couldn't see a mark on her. You'd think she'd have had scars or something with all those shots.

You couldn't on our cat and don't know why. You would think there would be small holes where they went in.

He was covered in mud as he struggled to get home and there was some blood but when he was cleaned up you could only feel them under his skin :(

    Aw poor little thing.
I detest people who have no regard for animals.
A few years ago my daughter's p1llock neighbour ran her cat over. She spent the next few days searching, calling out and rattling her cat's biscuits, in the hope she'd come home, but to no avail.
Eventually, the neighbour's wife told him to fess up to my daughter, and she found her lovely cat dumped behind a wall.
She was inconsolable at the time and I was enraged at her neighbour's callous attitude; "It waa only a cat."
She was much more than that; she was my daughter's treasured friend.
    Rant over. >:(

That is horrific >:( there is nothing worse not knowing :(

Why do people not stop and report when they run a cat over .. they do for a dog.

They are part of the family .. a big part.

I cannot bear people who do this with dogs - take him from a shelter after being there for 2 years and then realise that actually their lifestyle does not fit in with having a dog and back to the shelter the dog has to go again!

I don't understand how someone could take a dog back after 5 years. I couldn't have taken our dogs back after 5 minutes!
