  I'm down in Cornwall ,and the wind is really starting to pick up here ,it's blowing quite strong at the moment .We had heavy rain and Hail a couple of days ago

  It just passed over here (South Wales) - wind, heavy rain and thunder and lightening - lasted about 30-40 mins but it's calmed down now.

  I take it it was the reminents of this that absolutely battered us in West Yorks last night between 5-7pm.
  
  That was bad enough, especially being exposed on top of a hill. Must have been horrendous at it's peak.
