Coronation Street VS Eastenders

Okay, I understand it, it's in the game. But for god sake!

Is it me, but once Coronation Street finishes I switch to Eastenders and it is already on.

Today I switch over from hollyoaks (e4) and eastenders was already on, not the theme tune, but well in to a scene, I could had missed two scenes.

Anyone else notice this? Or is it just me?

Eastenders tends to start at around 19:28 on Tuesday/Thursday, to make room for the BBC News update at 19:57.

So we have to miss the cliff hanger on other programs? Great :S

Yes if certain programes regularly start early or late, I always record and I set each recording to start 5 minutes early and 10 minutes late.

Not everyone has recording devices, nor does everyone want recording devices.

That's hardly relevant if they plan to watch a programme live but it's starting at least 2 minutes before its scheduled slot.

It's a nusiance recording, having to find a slot between other programs and activities later in the evening. These tactics just annoy viewers.

Amazing how people get exercised about trivial timing issues on pathetic brainless trash tv.
