Chicken wings

Bought some in Sainsburys for £1 (reduced). Got about ten - good value.

Got home and thought how shall I do them. Ended up rubbing some Thai 5 spice powder into them (bit messy) and cooking them in the oven for 45 mins.

Me and my OH feasted on them with a decent glass of Rose - Delish for an indulgent Friday night extra.

Any other thoughts on how to deal with chicken wings?

Similar to what you have done but also make a sticky sauce to go with them.

Things like sweet & sour or hoi sin or just ketchup with honey/brown sugar and soy.
Bulk it out with chicken stock or even just water until you get a decent amount to cover the wings.
Add a few onions & carrots if you want.

Add the wings for the last few minutes of cooking or just to warm through when all the cooking is done.

    Nice, but messy :)
