I think you're doing a fantastic job. We all know the happiness will come, but this time period is particularly sad. They really didn't cover it in the series, so your story is very appropriate.:)

no ideas here ......I have my head empty this days, that's not totally true....I have some ideas but thanks to MM not related to DM..... :rolleyes:
The Series 4 DVD just came out here in the US and I noticed a change in episode 6 - Midwife Crisis. When Marigold and Bert are in her vehicle going up a hill with the beautiful scenery in the background, she starts singing Tammy Wynette's, "Stand by your Man" in the original production. In this new DVD they have some kind of country music playing in the background, but Marigold isn't singing. I wonder if there's a copyright issue with the song? Just interesting tidbits that you notice when you watch something a hundred million times!:D

Ha ha, yes they changed the music when the children are doing their dancing too, in the last episode. Sounds awful now. As you say, must be a copyright thing. Don't know who they get to do the sub titles either, cos in S3 when Holly says to Louisa 'your boyfriends got a bob or two', the subtitle says 'your boyfriends got a bobble too' I only watch these things for researching, you understand :o

Yes it almost sounds as if they've made it sound like just a mixture of notes so bad that no one would want to say 'that's my tune & you copied it' because no one would want to admit to it! :o
