What the hell goes on upstairs at Windass residence? Every scene someone comes down them steps and in the case of Katy, she can't get enough. Poor Izzy missing out on all the fun, eh.

Surprised the Corrie writers haven't created a spinoff out of this. Weathly family (Phelan) upstairs, common-as-muck Windass/Armstrong clan below, with Lady Muck Anna frantically running around to meet orders.

    I have a theory: all the babies and children in the street, who are seldom seen - Jake, Joseph, Lily, Hope, Ruby, etc - are kept up on the 2nd storey of Windass Towers. That is why we see that lump of a girl, who lives on the settee, drag herself up the stairs at intervals to feed them; somethings Katy takes a turn and can be seen sneaking up the stairs.

    It's how Katy keeps so fit, by walking down the stairs all day :D

    Owen has an hour a day where he makes the whole family go upstairs so he can pull the washing machine out and cry behind it in peace.

    'Put Joseph to sleep' has a new meaning altogether. :p
