Serving In Silence (Starring Glenn Close)

This film at the time it aired was considered controversial. It is about a divorced women with children who serves in the Military. She disovers late in life she is a lesbian. When asked routine questions following a a promotion (one of them asking her sexual orientation), she comes out as a Lesbian but faces loses her place in the miltary.

I watched this film the other day and it is simply brilliant. I am not the biggest fan of Glenn Close but her performance in this film is breathtaking. She is simply brilliant and actually won an emmy for her performance.

It also stars Judy Davis and Ryan Reynolds.
