And who's singing along to Jeff Lynne and the boys?

Me + It was the best thing about the worst ever episode of (New) Dr Who.

Love Mr Blue Sky :D Slight mistake with Bob Marley on the captions there tho, a #21 hit being credited as hitting, erm, number 1!

Blimey this Marley song is bringing back memories of fumbled snogs with girls just before their mums burst into the living room...

Sshhh keep quiet, you don't want the Daily Heil/Wail to get wind of that.

Jilted John could say "bitch" on TOTP! I got in enormous trouble for saying that to a classmate in this very year, yet he was allowed...and slag, it's not fair! :(

Oh - I take that back. If it wasn't for the TOTP Orchestra wrecking it.

Definitely "too much" of this Johnny Mathis & Deniece Williams duet is being played for my liking.

I bought the Jilted John single on the strength of John Peel playing it all the time. I loved the other side 'Going Steady' too. I was shocked when months later, after it had been out for ages, it suddenly became a hit.

Both sides of this single had a huge influence (bigger than I realised in retrospect) on my own forays into music...
