Maybe the role of Nikki Spraggan has been recast for the character to appear for another guest stint? (I know this actress is still playing Nikki when she returns on Christmas Day, but she could return, played by a new actress, in the Spring or something?) Just a thought.
Why do they keep announcing things at midnight? It's pathetic!
I assume it's so the print media don't to lose out. If big announcements were made at 12 midday then the internet would eat it up and the papers would always lose out. What would be the point of opening a morning paper to read what would then be old news. Also, TV companies will still want particularly big stories to be getting newspaper coverage, say, for example the naming of a new a Doctor which would make the front page. So it works both ways.
