Selling a fish tank

Having had both freshwater and marine fish over many years we have decided to sell our set up but are not sure of the best way to go about it. We currently have a large corner tank with freshwater tropical fish which are all small fish and there are now probably about 15 in total as we gave not been replacing them.

Our local fish shop would probably take the fish but should we sell the tank complete with fish? Do buyers prefer an empty set up? How should we go about it all?

See if you can get your local fish shop will take your fish off you. I've bought and sold a few tanks in the past years, and I believe people like to have an empty tank so they can set it up how they want and stock it with the fish they like. You could also try and sell the fish separately from the tank though. :)
