Is Russell Brand the second coming of Jesus?

He looks the spit of Jesus here.With his head tilted softly to the side, and a flattering light highlighting his soft expression, one could be forgiven for thinking this were another promotional photo for the popular actor.
However Russell Brand's sitting on this occasion was rather more embarrassing as he was pictured in a police mugshot following his arrest in connection with a charge of criminal damage.

Yeah, definitely Jesus. He needs a few more disciples though. Mr. G and Matt Morgan aren't going to be able to write four Gospels between them.
Well the Renaissance art version of Jesus, we know the area Jesus was from, so he was probably a lot darker and shorter, as in this article:

How do you know what Jesus looks like?
On a side note my husband gets called Jesus often. Its quite funny, he is so anti-religious so when chavs call him Jesus it makes me giggle.

I know it was naughty, but the video of him singing that song about Andrew Sachs has me in stitches.

My only beef with him is his odd taste in legwarmers!!
Nothing like him, because Jesus wasn't white and probably had shortish hair. If you're talking about the stereotypical image of him that's shown as a white man with long hair then yes, he looks very similar.
