Which is precisely what the extremists said they would do, hence the cancelling of the concert.
If there were such a strong likelyhood of such a thing happening here in the UK the authorities would withdraw their support for such an event for precisely the same reason.
And to describe her management company as "useless" when the blame for the cancellation lies with a handful of religious extremists is quite remarkable. If she had toned down her show to satisfy the local police, and discussions seem to have been ongoing, these nutters would have still acted the same to get the show cancelled.

But then your everyday muslim posting here such as myself or 2+2 and others arent battered by the anti muslim brigade into explaining and justifying every aspect of our religion, told we arent true muslims because we dont want to kill infadels, are told we arent real muslims because we arent anti gay etc are told our opinions arent valid and only the extremists and their rants & behaviour are, that 2+2 and myself arent a cross section of modern muslims only the extremists are, and we secretly (and most of the muslims in the uk) secretly support the extemists, are told we are to blame for housing/the recession/ someone who hasnt had a job since they left school 10yrs ago being unable to get one/etc etc etc:rolleyes: ALL of those things and more have been said to me on this board more than once so excuse us if we are plain bored of it and "sensitive" to it.

Why, even Elton John is performing there later in the year.

As an example : those trying to stop the equal marriage act. We are supposed to be a country of equality yet these people want us to become intolerant of gay people and/or restrict their rights, rather than moving to a country that already has restriction on their rights.
Those that would like to see sharia law imposed in their communities - few as they are, you don't see these people moving to a country that already has sharia law.
It doesnt matter if these people were born here or not, whether they hold religious views or not, I am referring to your point that they have the choice to move to a more intolerant country as people who live in a more intolerant one can move here. I'm saying mostly they don't - they just try and make us fit in with them.

So you suggesting that her management had NO idea at all that they would face protests? Pet is spot on here. Your obviously not prepared to accept the possibility they knew before hand. If they didn't, then they need to be sacked. Putting poor Ga Ga in such a situation.
