Ive been away for a few weeks, so sorry if this has been repeated.
I was catching up on EE the past few days and while watching the new Ben, ive noticed that he doesnt wear a hearing aid anymore! i know its a silly thing to point out, but he's always had it before! Time in Juvie must have cured his hearing! :confused:

    He's too cool to wear it.
    He doesn't speak much, so there is no need to listen much either.

    He's obviously nuts, he pushed his great auntie down the stairs. he should have finished the job.

    Yes he does still wear it, they showed a small blue one just behind his ear when he was sitting on the sofa in the Beales.

    It was revealed on Christmas Eve. When Peter left, Ben was playing with Glenda's earring. It hasn't been revelaed to any of the characters though.

    I don't know what to make of him. He seems very weird, just in stoney silence as his Uncle left after taking the blame for something he did.

    Peter's his nephew. He's the uncle :P (sorry, nitpicking, I know.)

    I wish they hadn`t got rid of the old Ben - this new one is so totally different its just not believable at all - its even worse than the replacement for Max`s daughter. They both leave for a few months and both come back with a body change and personality change.

    he's nothing like the Ben Mitchel that grew up on the square since he was 10.
    The new Lauren just seems the same to me. All she ever did was complain, and that's all she does now.

    This new Ben is very odd. I think he's going to do a lot more bad things,

    I think the recast has been done really well , there's being a sense of character progression in Ben. He is a young 14 year old lad who has been in young offenders he was hardly going be the same as he was as played by Charlie Jones as being in YO and having to stand up for himself will have effected him.

    He's a better actor then the previous actor, but the character has changed so much more then expected, i suppose his "campness" could come out in future storylines though

    I quite like him actually - I think they may turn him into a quiet, menacing character which would probably be more frightening that the shouty phil "hardman" act - I think that would be more effective. Re the campness think the kray brothers - that sort of development would be interesting to watch
