I have tried and tried again last night to listen to the late show but since Jenny Francis took over when Choice Fm got rebranded, It's just dire. Simon Beale really stands out as such a great presenter and perfect for the late show. His voice is much superior and of star quality. Surely those at Heart cant think the late show wasn't miles better when it was presented by Simon, surely.

With heart really being a female brand and aimed at twenty to forty somethings many whom would read the celeb mags why don't Heart have entertainment news ?
They could either have it after the main news or have someone on say Toby's show discussing all the showbiz, entertainment, tv, music news etc
I don't understand either why they so rarely they have special guests on there, occasionally the local breakfast show will have a guest but that's it. Now that Heart must cover 2/3 of the country I'm sure many celebs would want to come on to promote there film, album or whatever ?
What a waste of money. Would be better spent on putting Gold back on Dab instead of duplicating damn Smooth.
As Cut6 suggests it probably didn't cost Heart anything. It's a commercial promotion by Disneyland Paris and the costs will be covered as part of the deal. That's how commercial radio works.

Such a shame that some of Global's fiercest critics on this forum struggle to grasp even the basics of how commercial radio operates.
Maybe if they bothered to do their homework the standard of debate could be raised and DS could be more engaging for everyone. I'm not holding my breath though.
Has Heart Scotland had much on the Commonwealth Games?
Have their bit alternative voice tracked links about a big event in Glasgow? Or just talk on Breakfast/Drive?
