  I've heard of all the artists in the opening post but the only song I can name by any of them is Skyfall by Adele

  My dad and grandmother don't really follow pop music but they know Adele and Lady Gaga (without me talking about them). An advert for Rihanna's album came on recently and my dad asked me who she was plus he had no clue who Katy Perry was when me and my mum were talking about her recently
