Can he even prove he bought those records? According to the article, the list was complied from his memory alone. No receipts of purchase. He'll have a tough time to get them back, I should think.
Well if she didn't dispute their existence or the amount at the time of the court case I think it would be safe to say he's accurate and that they are his.
Why is he sad just because he wants his property back?.
She made a legally binding agreement with a court, and hasn't honoured that agreement.
It is his property, not hers, he is perfectly entitled to it back.
If she continually refuses to return it, and the police wont get involved (technically she could I guess, be charged with theft) then he has little choice other than to sue.
Good for him if the facts, as reported, are accurate. I'd do the same.
As captainkremmen suggested earlier.. while I would say the article stated the records were remnents of a previous business why someone has them to begin with is largely irrevelent
Whats really going on here is its being done either out of pure spite, or because the penny dropped that they were worth significantly more than first thought (again, irrelevent because they agreed to return the property beforehand)
And the only sad thing is the so-called music lovers in this world that have yet to experience vinyl - just makes easy pickings for the rest of us

SAD???
7000 albums, I'd be utterly devastated!!!
To be honest, I think your post makes your contribution null and void, too.
Me too! I also think he's undervalued his collection....at a paltry £2.50 per LP.
A real man would have gone on a Falling Down style rampage to get those records back
Posted like a genuine golddigger.:p
Think you should stick to having opinions on makeup and shoes.:p
I agree well said captain
+1...
And how little would ones belongings need to be worth (on the market) to not expect their return ?
But, in fairness Geniusgirl is getting a bad press in this thread. - she's actually a good sort!!
I know, we all get a ribbing now and again. Me, I'm used to it
LOL!
