I have just watched Unbreak My Heart and was absolutely overwhelmed by the vocals and the quality of the recording. I will listen to some others shortly.
Just got my tickets for Harlow playhouse . Crappy seats ,at the side, all the others had gone : (. Hope it's good .......
Hiya!
I've just got home from seeing Joe at his first two shows over the weekend. Both were sold out, the atmosphere was fantastic and he got a tremendous reception from the audiences. I think the videos of the second concert are in the process of being posted on youtube and which had some additions to those performed on his opening night.
There's music for everyone, from pop, with everyone up dancing in the aisles, to opera with everyone rapt at the power of his voice and all points in between. So versatile and that voice! I'm sure you'll have a good time. I've rebooked already. Recordings are fabulous but nothing can capture the tone of his voice. He has to be heard live.! He's very very impressive.

I think you'll have a great time Howard
LancashireLass is right - it's best to see Joe live to really appreciate his voice, but I'll post up some video links below in case you want to get an idea of what to expect before you go
And here's a few more from the second night last night at the Customs House in South Shields Joe used to work here while he was a student at performing arts college, washing-up and singing at tables and everyone there was absolutely thrilled to have him back, this time ON the stage This was the first of four sell out shows Joe has at the Customs House this month https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLiG3I7LFo_2AMcXgJGQlUpiVVe0jZy_kN
I should probably explain about the microphone malfunction ... While Joe was off stage doing a quick outfit change, over the sound of the band playing quietly, we heard a loud thud and a bit of a commotion in the wings. Joe came back on stage half a minute later and 'fessed up that he'd tripped over while he was getting changed (anyone who follows Joe will know that he's a bit clumsy) and dropped his microphone But at least it goes to show he always sings live ;-)

Thank you YL - Unbreak My Heart is stunning, isn't it.
Love the story about the microphone malfunction "A bit clumsy" is an understatement - which makes his Jump win even more impressive

You're very welcome Yes I love all of the new songs but Unbreak My Heart is stunning, something about Joe singing in Spanish makes it very special
Joe did laugh when he said 'a bit clumsy' LOL and you could tell we were all thinking of his lovely saying from the Wide Awake shoot with the skateboard 'Joe can't go a day without falling over'
At least he's never done it on stage, which surprises me with all that energetic choreography!
I think we have a few treats in store with Michelle's videos
Always very thankful for those super fans who take the time and effort to record Joe. I had intended not to watch any videos before I see the tour, but that resolution lasted until my second glass of wine.
Honestly it really is. This suits his voice so much and the audiences are spellbound and totally still when he sings it, and then erupt with cheering at the end. I love this show so much. In fact I love it so much I may even be going again.....once or ...er...twice.. ish.. ......:D
