Loss of 3G voice and data services in the areas of Kingston Upon Hull, Scunthorpe, York, Harrogate and Grimsby.
Brand Impacted: Orange
Incident Details: NPS Card replaced and ultra sites restarted after Card replacement which restored service.
No they would go down to Orange 2G
In my experience, the difference between normal Orange 3g service and no service is very little in Hull.
A mobile phone will make 999 emergency calls not matter what network you are on, if you’re normal network is not in range then it will switch to one that is.
AFAIK you can make 999 calls even with no sim card in the phone.
