I sound like the bastard child of Bet Lynch and Billy Casper. It's awful.

I sound like me but sorta different on film etc. I think everyone does because we only hear ourselves as opposed to what others hear if that makes sense?

No wonder people gaze at me when I'm talking, and not in a good way.

It's a lot deeper than I hear it myself when I talk.

I was surprised to find I sound a bit like Barry White. Don't like listening to my recorded voice, it sounds far too different to how I hear it myself.

I sound like a foghorn. A foghorn with an awful accent, to be more specific.

I can't stand hearing the sound of my voice, it genuinely makes me hate myself.

Why does it make you hate yourself? :(

    Thought it was just me!
Everyone else seems to sound OK recorded but my voice sounds nothing like I think I sound.
Its a lot higher and even a bit camp!

I thought I sounded like Geri Halliwell (speaking, not singing - my singing ain't THAT bad) with a Scouse undertone. :(
