Is Joel on basic rations?

Even though he's a hotel guest, his gift from Aisleyne was Basic Rations.

Does anyone know if he's had to stick to them all week? No wonder he's wound up about failing the task if so.

    No, I don't think so because he was trying to order steak and chips during the incident with phoning BB. He is looking ahead to next week. I don't think he's too keen on chickpeas!

    Like all the other guests he getting treats and are able to eat what they want.

    From the moment he became a guest he was no longer on basic rations.
