BBC Olympic coverage - Freeview changes
During the Olympics, BBC Four will be extended, with coverage from Rio 2016 between 13:00 and 04:00.
As a result, CBBC HD and CBeebies HD will have "reduced coverage" on Freeview (still awaiting confirmation of what this term actually means for viewers). Standard definition versions of these channels will continue as normal.
BBC Parliament will be off air during the Olympics once again.

BBC Four SD and BBC Four HD will become a 24 hour channel during the games.
CBeebies HD will not available on Freeview during the games.
Possibly BBC Four HD and CBBC HD are going to be swapped so BBC Four HD is available on the BBC HD multiplex and CBBC HD moving on COM 7 where there is less coverage.
If that's a permanent swap I'm delighted however if it's just for the stupid games they can stuff it.
BBC Four HD extends to operate 13:00 - 04:00 sharing with Cbeebies HD 04:00 - 13:00
BBC Red Button HD - Replaces what was BBC Three HD and CBBC HD after 13:00.
BBC Red Button 0 - Replaces BBC Parliament simulcasting HD's programming after 19:00 (Cbeebies using the capacity until then)
BBC Red Button 1 - Usual Red Button Service
BBC Red Button 2 - 6 - COM8 and possibly other spare capacity on Freeview (if we are lucky)
* This has to be on one of the main six multiplexes - if it's on PSB3, COM7 or 8 it would be pointless as you'd be able to get HD anyway
Wouldn't that require new licences from Ofcom?
Then there's the use of the term "reduced coverage" rather then "reduced hours" for CBBC HD and CBeebies HD. CBeebies HD already has reduced coverage, though...
