Met Chesney "The one and only" Hawkes at a party in Southhampton a few years ago. He was very obnoxious. Wonder if he's still the same today working in McDonald's?

I met Mo Mowlam in the ladies loos when I went to see Jerry Springer the Opera a few years ago - she was a lovely person, very chatty and friendly, there was a queue and she had her walking stick, we offered to let her go first but she said that she would go to the disabled.

I also bumped into Sandi Toksvig when I was walking into Selfridges - and I said 'oh hello' thinking she was someone I actually knew, and she blanked me. I would never go up to anyone and ask for their autograph, but sometimes mistakenly think they are someone I know and go to say hello - before I realise and stop myself, but with her I had said it, and felt a bit stupid being blanked.

Years ago I was on a tube train on the weekend and the man opposite looked so like Gianluca Vialli I couldn't believe it, I kept on trying to look at him without him noticing. I didn't think it was him as didn't expect he would be on the tube. He caught my eye once and winked and smiled. Later on I was watching football commentators on TV - and there he was in the same jumper!!

Used to be in the Armed Forced - Rory Underwood (rugby player) was very pompous, Prince Charles was really nice, his brother Andrew was a nightmare.

Last Saturday I was at the Last Night of the Proms event in Hyde Park when I looked up to see a real fitty stood a couple of rugs away from me... well my friend then said to me 'That's Gareth Gates' and to my surprise it was, LOL! :)

Well although I didn't actually speak to him personally, as I was sat so near I can say he was delightful to anyone who asked him for a photo and he looked genuinely happy to pose with the many people who approached him!

There was also some guy from Boyzone with him, but nor me nor my mate knew his name. Only one person asked for a photo of him but he was again happy to oblige :)

Gareth, not only are you hot, but you seem a lovely person too :D

People are three dimensional, etc etc I know. But let's not take this too seriously.

What actors/actresses/musicians are commonly said to be unlikeable people? And I'm not talking about the more obvious ones like Kanye West or certain rock stars.

One I've noticed is America Ferrera who plays Betty in Ugly Betty. I've read several accounts of her being extremely egotistical and rude, a 'tyrant' on set, to the point where Ugly Betty could have been canceled. And of course, there's the video of her rolling her eyes at her Traveling Pants co-star.

Zelebrities that (look like) they smell

Alan "Titmarsh" and Cilly Black come to mind.

Bloody hell dude. Do you just write hate about George Lamb everywhere? Every post I've seen of yours is about him.

Unfortunately alot of celebs aren't too nice in real life. The fame and the money goes to their heads.
Also there is a certain type of person who 'courts' fame.:(

However there are exceptions to the rule and they are usually the talented ones as opposed to the wanabees:cool:

A few years ago I used to meet Cilla Black - as I lived near her - every morning and she was always very pleasant.
Never walked by without saying "Nice Morning".
