London Live

I live just outside Greater London and I can receive the test signal for London Live on Freeview from Crystal Palace. However, I'm not sure if I will be able to receive it via SKY as I don't have a London postcode. Anyone know if it will be available on the EPG if you are just outside London?

    Same for me I can view it OK on freeview but unable to tune in on satellite.
    Quite annoying I think most will watch by freeview way.

    The test seems to be blocked for everyone on satellite at the moment.

    Since London Live won't launch until the end of the month Sky doesn't allow placeholders for that amount of time so it won't appear on Sky (for the London area only) until the day it launches or maybe the day before.

    Is this the test card showing on Freeview channel around the 720 number?

    Yes it is, but it's on channel 791 here.

    I'm in the same situation, located just on the outside of the M25 (I can hear it from my house!) but still officially in the Crystal Palace broadcast area. So it'll be interesting to see if I get the channel on Sky. It comes in at full strength on Freeview.

    It's slotted in between BBC Three and BBC Four on my Freeview - seems an odd place for it.

    Yes, I've just re-scanned and a London Live promo is indeed now on channel 8, in between BBC Three and Four, although "Local TV Test1" is still on channel 791, showing colour bars!

    'London Live' now on full trade tests, tuning details are, label "50892" on 12.610 V, 22.000, 5/6.

    London Live has come up on the TV downstairs and that don't even point at London and has an indoor aerial LOL looking at Sudbury

    London Live coming up outside London area on Sky so looks like this will be available to all via other channels, just not FTA.

    Picture Quality isn't too bad either!

    Lol, I've just checked and apparently Sky don't add channels to the epg until the last minute (probably the day before) so it will be there eventually.

    I would imagine it will arrive well before the launch date (March 31st) if only to run the promo for a while (which is already there on Freeview).

    Fully aware it's on test at the moment, but I went to watch London Live this morning, peep show was on with full swearing at 10am. :D
