Corrie Friday 9th January 2015 - Marrying The Tinker's Daughter
Hello all and welcome to my first Corrie episode thread of the year. My last thread at Halloween saw a disastrous wedding for Toxic Barlow as her murdering groom did a runner! Will it be a happier occasion for Beth and Kirky?
WHITE WEDDING
NEED YOU TONIGHT
ONE THINGS LEADS TO ANOTHER
BEAT IT
DON'T YOU WANT ME?
Thanks to RK, agatha_crispies and Oldnjaded for the last 3 threads.
Recap of the week:
1. Beth's granny, mother and sister arrived.
2. Lisa Riley unfortunately didn't get the chance to play Sinead's mum this time. Thankfully, Sinead wasn't placed in 'curr.'
3. Jason made a mess of agatha's keyboard.
4. Grumpy Cat Steve got out of bed for a few scenes.
5. We met newcomer Hamish who isn't scottish.
6. Camp Callum kidnapped his son. Puny David wasn't happy, either was Cougar Audrey who is still having damp problems. (which are nothing to do with Luke)
7. Kirk was superman and Tyrone was Lassie. More like dumb and dumber.
8. Kirky wants to adopt Daryl the rat and make it official.
9. Gail's back and Des Lennis followed her like a dog on heat. Like mother like daughter and son.
10. Anna continued to act like she had a brush of needles stuck up her arse. I have a Phelan I know what the real problem is....does their new flat have a washing machine?
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

WHITE WEDDING
Kirk is a nervous wreck as he and Chesney prepare for the '80s-themed wedding. While Chesney's back is turned, Kirk slips out unnoticed....
Later, as Beth waits at the registry office - dressed as Mad-onna with her Bananarama bridesmaids - Chesney searches in vain for Kirk. Is Kirk about to stand up the love of his life, or will he don his Adam Ant costume and say 'I do'?
Has Kirk overcome his pre-wedding nerves and tied the knot with Beth?

NEED YOU TONIGHT
Liz and Toeknee head out on a shopping spree, leaving Steve and Michelle to look after the wedding reception. When Michelle gets a better offer from Hamish who isn't Scottish (ha ha :kitty:), she picks up her things and heads out, leaving Steve to look after the wedding party.
Unable to cope, Steve tells everyone to help themselves to drinks and heads into the back. How will Liz react when she arrives home to find the wedding guests behind the bar helping themselves?
Liz and Toeknee drag the guests out from behind the bar in an attempt to restore order. Liz demands to know what's going on, but unable to deal with the situation, Steve pushes past her. As Michelle enjoys a second date with Hamish in the Bistro, Liz arrives begging Michelle to help with Steve, explaining that she is worried about him. Michelle is torn and at a loss over what to do. Later, Liz tells Steve that he's coming with her to Spain so she can keep an eye on him. Will Steve agree?

ONE THINGS LEADS TO ANOTHER
Maria is annoyed to see Luke at the wedding reception and ignores him. Realising he's not wanted, Luke downs his drinks and leaves. Maria catches up with him on the street and apologises for her behaviour. In an attempt to make it up to him, Maria invites Luke back to her flat. Will Luke harden?
BEAT IT
Scary Mary muscles in on Julie's wedding cake plans and takes over with her icing bag. When Sean then admires the '80s-themed cake, Mary takes the credit whilst Julie fumes.
To Sinead's embarrassment, Arlene flirts outrageously with Dev until Julie loses her temper and warns her off her boyfriend.

DON'T YOU WANT ME?
Sean is upset when Billy-no-mates fails to turn up for the wedding.
Finally, Billy arrives and apologises to Sean, explaining that he had a work crisis. Will Sean accept his apology?

Hello there Cobbleheads ;-)
Yeah, they work well together.
Evening mrb!
Cheers for the great thread, dullagj2:D
Tonight's stuff looks much the same as usual......
Hi all!
As to Luke, of course he will;-). I'm sure every red blooded male alive would harden in front of lovely Maria.
Anna probably doesn't have a washing machine in that tiny flat. Bet for Christmas she asked Owen for tickets to go to the laundrette:p.
Thanks Houndy.
Very welcome Reet.
The one NTA nom speaks for itself. Too many pointless romance stories, no engaging story.
Glad you liked Collie.
Emily Bishop's waiting, talking Italian.
Looking forward to this
I've got my button hole in.
