Eastenders and Emmerdale have both been brilliant watching for me! Especially loving the Cain storyline right now. I think Corrie has been a little dissapointing the last few months. And I'm dissapointed that Emmerdale aren't having a more exciting storyline - not a big fan of the Laurel/Ashley/Marlon story!

Stopped bothering with EE and Coronation Street months ago as they got so tedious to watch, but can never miss Emmerdale.

I loved the story with Leyla and her son too.

Hollyoaks by far! By far the best soap this year - Silas was just unmissable, especially Rae's and Heidi's deaths. Just brilliant! :D Karen Hassan and Jeff Rawle deserve loads of awards next year at the BSA!

Neighbours has been my favourite this year. Corrie's been good as well but EE has been atrocious.

Corrie has definatly improved a fair bit since John Stape's death. That storyline went on for too long! You know its a crap storyline when the main actress involved finds it confusing.

Corrie and Home and Away will always be my 2 favorite soaps.

Emmerdale for me,much more watchable this year,I get annoyed if I miss an episode, although I would quite happliy give Chas a good slap,I used to really like her,but now she just annoys me,and dont get me started on how they've totally ruined Marlon!!

It depends which you watch, and if you watch all of them

I gave up on Coronation Street and Eastenders about 8 months ago but stuck with Emmerdale and I love it.

Tried to vote, it says poll is closed.

For me, since starting to watch Doctors sometime in 2008, that is by far the best soap. Its head and shoulders abve EE imo and I am someone who has watched EE generally from the very begining.

The EE of the 80's and up to 2000 would have been better than Doctors but EE in the last 10 years doesn't compare at all.

    What made you give up?

They both began to bore me. EastEnders lost all of it's excitment for me after Danielle and Bradley died, Stacey was ruined, and then the Lucas storyline was ruined. It never felt the same after that and I stopped watching completely during the babyswap, I thought it was so badly done and other storylines at the time I can't even remember.

Coronation Street hasn't interested me in so long. I think the last time it was unmissable for me was when the Liam/Maria/Carla/Tony Gordon story was going on, I loved that!
