Thank GOD it wasn't. I'd rather have that song be perfect the way it is with Jane and Miguel. You're so right though, that song is FAR too good to have gone so unnoticed Tbh it's the same with most of her singles, I wish that that Got to Dance advert had really boosted Dance Apocalyptic.
All of "The Electric Lady" singles deserved to be Top 10!
Agreed 100%
Especially the bit in bold: it seems to be that Janelle will be destined to being mainly well-known just for singing a line on that Fun tune "We Are Young".:(
I have to agree there - though I actually thought Blind was a better "pop song". I think there best song is Stay which did well in Germany but not very well here. A beautiful song with very poignant words. I actually think their record company haven't done very well in marketing them at all over here.
I agree with a previous poster - Take That Kidz should have charted better. It's a shame that Simon Cowell vetoed them singing it on X Factor and made them sing The Flood yet again.
AlunaGeorge - Best Be Believing
JESSIE WARE - TOUGH LOVE
Lana Del Rey - West Coast Ariana Grande - Break Free (why did Taylor's Shake It Off chart but not this?!)
Iggy Azalea - Work
Marina and the Diamonds - How To Be A Heartbreaker
Solange - Losing You
All of BEYONCÉ's singles from the current era
IMO Taylor deserved to chart. Break Free is awful! At least Taylor's song is catchy.
Ashlee Simpson - La La/Boyfriend
Ashlee Simpson - Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya). Always assumed this was a top 5 hit because it received strong airplay and the video was always being played on release. I'm very surprised it only made #24 in 2008, deserved a much higher placing imo.
