£15,333 each or £18,333 each. Not worth the risk of being a step closer to the chaser to add less than 20% to your winnings. Silly. £50,000 was an option but £5,000 was not an option at all. Very poor decision.

No, no, no, no, no. That's a common mistake. You can't decide AFTER the outcome is known whether something was a good decision or not. You can only judge a decision on the information available at the time of the decision. As explained above, it's not worth the risk, £15,333 to £18,333 for one step closer to the chaser.
George was quite clever but some of his passes in the final chase were inexcusable
"what creature is a [thing that sounds like a fish]?", "pass"
"how many times is the honours list published?", "pass"
"the [something something] is a breed of what?", "pass" ('breed' means dog is the obvious guess and happens to be the correct answer also)

The fish question begin "without scales" or "with no scales" or something like that, which was a big clue to the answer.
But IMHO Anne deserved to win today just for knowing which planet the Transformers come from.:D
Though that one seems longer, and it says Youtube Exclusive, so I guess it was from when it was filmed? Like I said it seemed longer, so I guess it wasn't edited yet.

Just looking at those Christmas specials on YouTube with Mark as The Grinch. I don't remember them at all. What year was that?
Yes. George ( The £46K man ) thought he was playing by himself. >:(
He reminded me of that woman a few weeks ago. The one that had written a book. They both had that irritating air of overconfidence. Even before they both messed up in the final.

A good quizzer should know that any time you get a question that starts "What type of creature is a ...", and you've never heard of it,ninety percent of the time it's a fish or a bird. I mean it's not going to be antelope or something.

Other useful "default" answers:
"Which military leader said..." : Napoleon
"Which famous scientist said..." : Newton or Einstein
"Which Spice Girl..." : Geri Halliwell
"Which member of Girls Aloud..." : Cheryl Cole
and so on.

They didn't have a plan.
Agree, even if the low offer is -£5K they would still get £15K each
How so?

Yeah, what was that all about?
She got through, so it was a good decision.
