good question are the BBC thinking of using it for anything else?

The transponder is still live but with no channels on it. The current average bitrate is 1.04-1.8 MBps and only data tables are being broadcast - I mentioned this earlier.

So not sure what is going to happen. I would hope the BBC use it for HD BBC1 regions but nobody knows yet. It would need reconfiguration to do this so we will have to wait and see.

Just to let you know that earlier today, two additional data pids appeared

04ff and 1fc9 but they are unknown usage. They are not active now so not sure what they were for.

    0x0000 MPEG-2 Program Assocation Table
    0x0001 MPEG-2 Conditional Access Table
    0x0010 DVB Network Information Table
    0x0011 DVB Service Definition Table
0x0014 DVB Time Definition and Offset Tables
    0x0033 Unknown usage
    0x0034 Unknown usage
    0x0050 Unknown usage
    0x0055 Unknown usage
    0x0059 Unknown usage
    0x0060 Unknown usage
    0x04ff Unknown usage
    0x1fc9 Unknown usage

The last two have gone at present.

I notice Sky haven't removed price drop's former EPG slot gap between Home store and Jewellery Maker - Pointless seeing as TruTV bought their EPG slot!

Yes, maybe but cannot be sure obviously yet.

The last two pids on that list are now not active but were earlier today and also were not there yesterday when the last TV channel stopped on 11.464 H.

We'll have to keep an eye on things.

    Update

    11.643 V, 27.500, 2/3.

"QRQIVA UKI 458 ENC1" has now been removed?

Something has changed, presumably the above has been removed, and the Tp switched off or changed to DVB-S2.

jimbo, can you confirm this any of this?

    Thanks.

Nothing for Freeview viewers is unfortunate!!!

If there is room for 20HD channels (theoretically)
can they not have used the space of 7HD Channels for 24/48hrs????
and launched Sky Sports 1-5 News & F1???

It's a bit of a waste of money to set up for 24 hours

The mux on 11.642 V is still on air

SR 27500 FEC 2/3 as before. Configuration changing all the time

There are currently 3349 PIDs in use on the mux even though there is one channel. Many of the PIDs are empty.

I have checked on this and the Arqiva bars are still on air, doing as they did before, I am using a Tevion HDSR 420 receiver, I know that some Sky boxes are able to receive the channel, only to lose it a few days later, as my mother's and a friend's HD boxes have done so, to get the channel back, I deleted the channel and added it again.
