Should 11 have gone on the offensive rather then delete himself out of exsistence ?

Got a feeling he might end up kicking himself for missing the oppurtunity. They thought he was "dead". He had the element of surprise. Plus dorium told him the real reason why they ararnged to have him "killed" in the first place. Trying to avoid the future at trenzalore. He could have easily sent them a message. "Rumours of my death have been greatly exagerated". (Bet he at least read if not met Mark Twain at some point in his long life).:p Would have been worth it just to see the look on Kovarians face :mad:. Got a feeling his old enemies are going to back with a vengence when they finally "remember" him. Plus we had a one word clue from the man himself. "paintings". You know the old expression a picture is worth a thousand words ... Roll on S7 part 2 :):D

    Endless, bitter war....

    It's still waiting.

It wasn't just about The Silence. Their actions, the lengths that they would go to in order to stop him, convinced him that the Universe would be better off without knowing of him. That being this legendary hero was starting wars and causing harm to those close to him.

The Doctor has many enemies - and we've already seen what the Daleks would do to get his co-operation.

The doctor is generally a peaceful man and he was horrified to discover that the word Doctor had stopped meaning healer and come to be a warrior. He didn't like what it was doing to his friends and he didn't like the collateral damage it was doing to people like Lorna Bucket.
