Teenagers

Are your teenagers quiet? My 19 year old son hardly speaks. He has always been quiet but lately it's been hard getting anything out of him. He works full time so cannot fault him about that. He doesn't go out drinking or walking the streets, just hangs out in his bedroom. It's hard having a conversation with him sometimes. Are your teenagers like that?

If people didn't hang out in their bedrooms all the time DS wouldn't exist.

Maybe he's having a hard time at work, or worrying about girls. Usual stuff teenagers stress about. Get his Dad to have a word.

Bit moody and withdrawn and unpredictable ? Never heard of that with teenagers before. P.S., teenagers didn't exist before the 1950s, they were a marketing ploy invented by usa advertising agencies ..........

Sorry to make a joke of it, but being withdraw and sullen would be ''normal and typical'', although only some people do that. There is now an ''official'' explanation, in terms of ''adolescent behavior'', but that's not much practical use ..........
