Very sad when Sophie was hit by a car nearly 2½ years ago. When the doctors and nurses said that she may be paralysed for ever, I was tearful. But, after a few days, she could move her legs. Slowly but surely, she began to walk properly again. Took her until nearly Christmas that year, but she did it. She 'defied the odds', as the saying goes.
I think Brooke Vincent is much better at playing Sophie than Emma Woodward who played her in the late 90s.
