Is my Humax Foxsat 'dead'?

My Foxsat is displaying the blue light but there is no display on the screen above the light. It will not go into standby using either the remote or the manual button on the front. I have disconnected the power and tried the switch on the rear of the box. Nothing shows on my TV screen whatever I press, I have checked that the input on the TV is set to the HDMI cable I am using. Any suggestions would be helpful.
