Made the game quite difficult I thought, limb removal isn't my forte so I would use more ammo than necessary to kill monsters, thus I run out of ammo and eventually got stuck and abandoned the game....
A sorry tale of poor gamer vs tough game !
A frustrating game - battled my way through it, but after about four hours solid attempts to defeat the final boss and failing, I yanked the disc out of the PS3 and destroyed it. Finishing the final battle only got you a bronze trophy too.
Could be controversial this, but I'm going to take it on...Gran Turismo 5. They kept us waiting YEARS for it, and when it eventually arrived it was a disappointment. Horrible load times, clunky ugly menus, some of the race courses look great and then you turn a corner to be confronted by cardboard-cutout scenery! Ugh!!! Gigabytes of updates and patches later, and it still disappoints me.
GTA IV. When did GTA get so dull and boring? Other than the graphics there is nothing stand out about this game, it's utterly overrated. I couldn't even finish it.
The Witcher 2. I felt like I was playing through a cheap medieval porno. I would be embarrassed if anyone caught me playing this.
Mass Effect 3. Not terrible but it lacks a lot of substance compared to the other two. Some of the mechanics are pretty questionable and the great characters from 2 are sidelined so we can get a dumb jock and a ridiculous fembot.

I like your style, I did something similar to Bayonetta

Class.
I haven't destroyed a game in rage and frustration since my Amiga days.
As an RPG fan I thought I'd finally get round to playing Neverwinter Nights 2 now it's on GOG.
Absolutely awful. It's still incredibly buggy after 4/5 years. The graphics are painful to look at, the controls & camera are awful, the voice acting is rubbish and the characters/story are incredibly poor compared to previous Forgotten Realms games.
Somebody recently tried to tell me that Doom 3 was a good game and I decided to replay it cos that wasn't how I remembered it at all.
I still maintain that it is, I suppose, a decent enough story but it's an absolutely shite game.
To recreate Doom 3 you'd just need to design a game comprising 2 or 3 dark rooms then have the ever-larger baddies spawn behind the player as he enters each room in turn.
Rinse and repeat. For about 6 tedious f**king hours.
Next time you're playing an FPS, ask yourself this: Do I ever get the opportunity to sneak up on a baddie who's unaware of my presence?
If the answer is "no" then the game is shit. Simple as that.

I bought the recently released xbox360 version & absolutely loved every second of it!!! ... just goes 2 prove how opinions differ!!!
Yes I know a lot of people love this game, but I found it to be a miserable experience. Charmless graphics, charmless characters, awkward controls, awful save system, and dull missions.
GTA IV. When did GTA get so dull and boring? Other than the graphics there is nothing stand out about this game, it's utterly overrated. I couldn't even finish it.
I agree with you both. GTA IV was awful. Somewhat saved by the Episodes DLC but the main game was a bore fest.
Started and finished 007 Legends today. What a shoddily made game. Horrendous A. I, stupid QTE style boss fights, bad voice acting and dialogue. It's a shame as I really enjoyed Blood Stone and would have loved another game in that style, instead we got 007 does Call Of Duty. Terrible.
Crysis 2. One of the dullest games I've played for a long time. I'm not even sure if I can be bothered to complete it, which is rare for me. The plot, what little there is of it, doesnt involve you emotionally at any level, and bears no relation to the events of the first game. The characters are unlikeable. The setting is unexciting (why do developers think New York is a suitable location for a game? It's a stunning place to visit in real life, but in a game its just one big grey building after another. You may as well be in Burnley or something, but with taller buildings).
Theres also a huge bug for the 360 version, where the grainy cinematic filter they overlay over the image goes wrong, so everything looks like you're playing using a half plugged in SCART lead. They never bothered to patch that.

i like it, the boxing is the worst thing i've seen in a while though

Havent played it but was this the one where you played as Daniel Craig no matter which Bond film you selected?. I played the remastered GoldenEye though for PS3 and loved it.

As far as stealth games go, if you play on normal difficulty then Absolution is definitely one of the easier ones.
That would be fine but I'm a bit of an achievement **** as well (100 percented my last 14 games played ) so will need to play on at least hard.
Think I'll play on normal and get a feel for it before attempting a hard playthrough.
It was actually introduced in The Lost and Damned.
@SJM978: I believe you're also confusing Auto-Save with Mission Checkpoints, they are a different thing.
Ah right, knew it was one of them.
Even though I think SJM is abit muddled with terms, I have to agree that the lack of checkpoints during missions in IV was a pretty bad oversight.

Wish I'd not bothered.
It was like a fable beta, and looked like a poor ps2 game.
I played sleeping dogs straight after and it made it even worse.
(ps3).

Spot on. It was so poor it was virtually unplayable. 14 years in development and that was the best they could do, fgs.
