    Hello, Grumpies!
Glad Laura and snowy are holding the fort with batty as support, I seem to somehow have less time to post in the holidays than I do when I'm working. Not sure how that happens...?

Anyhoo - the rain seems to have stopped and there are Saturday things to do.

    Hugs to you all. :)

I know what you mean handy - no time for anything!

I've a mountain of stuff to catch up on before I jet off again tomorrow.

Yep, all of the above here, too, snowy.
There was some flooding in places at the bottom of hills; the water came down sost it ran down and went in through under folks' doors.

Batty, hope you are okay - and that other grumpies stayed safe and dry!

Just about okay handy. Very hot and wet here. We got caught in a thundery downpour and had to go buy new clothes. We were literally drenched to the skin. Good fun, though. :D

Glad to hear he's being a good patient. Poor thing. Give him my love. More healing vibes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Here, I've had an interesting day. Spooky coincidences have conspired to bring me in contact with a childhood friend I haven't seen in many (many!) years. We've spoken on the phone and plan to meet up soon. It's lovely and incredibly weird at the same time. In my head she's about 10, but she became a grandmother four months ago. :o:confused::D

    Good catch, snowy! :)

Batty, that's the feeling I get when I realise my brother's eldest will be 16 next birthday (end of November). My little brother has a sixteen year old? Does not compute!!!

    (1) Hi snOWbEs, I hope life is treating you better of late.

    (2) I found some 15 year old digital video of the younger MsKJ on the PC (160x120 pixelresolution, or about 1% HD) ... with a glorious soundtrack (which she hates and MrsKJ doesn't think much of and is now her ring tone on my phone):

    "Hello Mummy Hello Daddy"

Bugrit those onions are strong :cry::cry:

Suddenly it's autumnal here. Cats have spent all day in the back utility room, hiding from the wind!

We've been having a very jolly time since Batman arrived. One of the highlights was seeing The Expendables in 4DX. We spent more time laughing at being thrown around and the smoke and water effects than watching the film (which is utter shite). :D
