It justs needs Dufner to have a couple of bad holes then it's wide open, Karlsson going well...[/QUOTE]
Yes it's only Karlsson I can see who can beat Dufner now.

Monty suggested a -5 from Westwood will be enough for him to win, can't see it

Yes I think Montys got it wrong, he's been sticking to that all round but Dufner is not going away and Karlsson and afew others are on fire. 5 under will not be enough.

Real shame Luke hit in the water at 15. If his 2nd attempt had been his 1st he'd have birdied it and gone to six under instead his hopes well and truly went at the 15th. He's played so well too, shame.

Good efforts from Anders Hansen and Robert Karlsson but no sign of Dufner slipping up here so despite the last four difficult holes still to go I think it's Dufners, who is currently 2 ahead of Bradley.

Now soon to be four ahead of the field

Got no one behind putting any pressure on, going to take a hell of a bottle job to lose from here unless one of the others get a couple of birdies.

:D Dufners in the pond on 15th, luckily for him though all around him have floundered also, Hansen with a bogey, Karlsson with consecutive bogeys and a triple from Bradley.

Still Dufners then, well baring a mighty collapse over the last 3 holes.

Fair play to Bradley coming back from a triple bogey on the 15th

So its only the Masters that has sudden death I dont like multi-hole play offs. I hate The Open format.

Another 45 minutes of these two:( I hope it gets won or lost here

The US Open one is the worst a full 18 hole playoff the next day totally kills the excitement! Though the Woods/Mediate one from 08 was a classic...little did we know at the time that was the beginning of the end for invincible Woods!

Well only 1 of the 3 rookies leading at the start of the day fell away (Steele) now after bogeys at the last 2 looking like a 3 hole play off.

Can't wait up for another 3 holes though as got to be up at 6am for work.

Can Jason Dufner hold on or will Keegan Bradleys collapse at bridgestone in the final round help him to keep it together this time.........

yeah i like sudden death its the ultimate pressure golf , does the US Open still do an 18 hole play off ? complete waste of time.

One of the best comments tonight was from Bruce Critchley as always, when he said that each major that passes tells a new story and its generally and entirely different set of people involved.

Another major passes where Westwood, Donald fell short yet again.

The likes of Rose, Poulter, Casey were absolutely nowhere though

Yes they do still do it absolute nonsense, I know how some folk feel about sitting through another 3 holes with work in the morning.

I will stay with it because if I go to bed to watch it I will fall asleep:D

The American major jinx will be over though
