Obviously most people accept it, but some have pretty different views when it comes to their own kids. Sort of shatters visions of Grand Kids and all that, and some seem less comfortable with it when it's their own Children. How would you feel?
I would not be bothered either way.

But hypothetically no, you've got to support your child no matter what.
Parents say a love for their child is stronger than anything. (Apparently)
Most people do not accept homosexuality.
Where I come from, most people do. But then I don't assosiate with either rabid evangelists or ignorant bigots.
Most bigoted, ignorant mouth breathers who want to drag us all back to the middle ages do not accept homosexuality.
The rest of us know that people can't help who they love and who they are attracted to.
Well I don't think that's true. I've had very very few problems with my sexuality being accepted in the last 11 years.
Most people don't batt an eyelid.
Your generalizing, making statements like that doesn't help.
oh c'mon utter rubbish.
Which is exactly what you did to begin with. Some people will inevitably not accept it, and others will have no problem. I'd say the former is by far the minority in my view.
Well sorry if that offends, but I speak exactly as I find.
Why would I contrive otherwise?
You're generalizing, making statements like that proves you are homophobic
So keep dreaming.
We're here to pass our genes on, and that means grandchildren as well etc. etc. Whilst their are 'other methods' that can beget grandchildren, for most people it wouldn't be the same.
The honest truth is that I would be disappointed if any of my children turned out gay, but I would still love them and support them and wish them to be as happy as they could be.
You doughnut, I'm also Gay!
And there goes the stock in trade answer to just about every argument about gay issues on this board.
It really should be the equivalent of Godwins.
I can assure you that I wouldn't care either way. There's more to life than having grandkids, my daughter's happiness for one.
Where's that figure came from?
