Unfortunately this is a common thing, it happened to another poster this week as well. I don't know if people hedge their bets and are chatting to others who they then decide they prefer. It's a bit rude and annoying but that's the nature of the fickle world of internet dating.
Would just be nice to have someone to share things with from time to time that's all - gets ever more awkward as get older trying to explain to people why still not with someone!

Alas dating & maintaining a stable relationship appears to be very, very hard, and harder still if you've got high standards & an independent lifestyle & your own career. Nothing wrong whatsoever with that at all.

'I have attended 4 concerts in my life and they have all been Take That :-). I also like lots of other crap like S Club 7, Spice Girls, Rick Astley, Ah Ha etc etc. I love 80's and 90's music (but can listen to most types).
