    .....and its sooo hot ugggghhhhh!

Very muggy here at the moment, but the sky is still clear. I think our storms arrive during the night, so knowing me unless the roof caves in I will sleep through at least some of them.

    I love a good thunderstorm.

I had to pause so a couple of minutes behind.

"You wouldn't stick it in a sandwich" made me laugh.

The sky is bright red here. I'm expecting Ming the Merciless to knock on my door.

Still south of the river, but on their way - fab storm last night, wasn't so keen on the crack of thunder at 5.15 this morning which was right over the house, and I thought the actual roof had fallen in

I like the sound of Sophie's dishes - hope she pulls them off OK.

I like the sound of Jodie's starter and possibly her main though really rather oniony.

    Oooh - chocolate fondant again!

I love the idea of red onion marmalade - can't decide if it's worth having a stab at making it or to just buy some.

I tried to make it once, and it was horrendous, probably one of the worst things ever made, ever, in the whole world - but do remember I am an appallingly bad cook

I made some at Christmas and we had it with my s-I-l's home made chicken liver pate as a starter for Xmas dinner. It was lovely, if I say so myself!

I'll see if our Sainsbury's is posh enough for that!
