Alternative thread but I think it could be interesting I like years and generations. By members I mean brothers and sister, parents, Grandparents. Oh also keep in order of year so it is easier to read. Please keep it serious and correct and please no silly years like 1066.

I was born in 1996 (Alive)
My 2nd Oldest Sister was born in 1995 (Deceased)
My Oldest Sister was born in 1991 (Alive)
My 2nd Oldest Brother was born in 1989 (Alive)
My Oldest Brother was born in 1978 (Alive)
My Dad was born in 1965 (Alive)
My Mum was born in 1959 (Alive)
My Grandma (Dads Side) was born in 1930's (Deceased)
My Grandpa (Dads Side) was born in 1930's (Deceased)
My Grandpa (Mums Side) was born in 1924 (Deceased)
My Grandma (Mums Side) was born in 1922 (Deceased)
My Great Grandma (Dads Side) was born in 1920 (Deceased)
My Great Grandpa (Dads Side) was born in 1911 (Deceased)
My Great Grandma (Mums Side) was born in 1872 (Deceased)
My Great Grandpa (Dads Side) was born in Unknown (1800's) (Deceased)

What's yours???

Yes. I have 4 brothers and I'm the only girl. Thank God everyone is alive. My nan is living too but I'm not sure what age she is and when I ask her or my mum they both say that they don't know.

Maternal Grandfather (Deceased as of 2006) - 1920
    Maternal Grandmother - 1921
    Aunt - 1951
    Mum - 1954
    Cousins - 1973, 1989, 1992
    Me - 198

Those are my closest family, aside from several great aunts/uncles and second cousins who are now all deceased and it would take far too long to look up their years of births.

Fun! I like family history, but I'm old and watch Who Do You Think You Are. :D

My list is of the relatives I know or remember:

Younger sister and I both born early 1960s; we don't have any cousins.

Parents both born in the 1930s and very much alive, but Mum's two older sisters were born late 1920s and both deceased.

Maternal grandparents born 1905 and 1902 (both died 1980s).

Paternal grandmother born 1903, died 1980s.

Paternal grandfather was a Victorian! Just. He was born 1901, a few days before the Queen died, and died in the mid 1960s. My youngest child was born 100 years after him, in 2001.

One of my paternal great grandmothers, who we used to visit when I was small, was born in 1882 (died late 1960s). The other great grandparents had all died before I was born.

I've traced all my family lines back to late 1700s or early 1800s, but don't have the inclination to do the difficult research offline (sheer laziness). I didn't uncover anyone who was either important or scandalous, which was disappointing. ;-)

    Me - 1991 (only child)
My Dad - 1960 (one of twelve)
My Mum - 1958 (one of six)

(I am not going to do aunts, uncles and cousins because there's a lot and by the time I finish, there'll probably be more).

    Yes, they were young parents.

    I have a great-aunt who's 97, now. So she must have been born in 1915 or 1916.

Quite right too. Nice to see some decorum still exists. We were never allowed to know the ages of our parents.

It meant to say 1983. Although since I hit thirty this year sometimes I do indeed feel absolutely ancient. :p

    Me - 1990 (youngest child).
    My younger brother - 1984.
    My older brother - 1981.
My mother - 1962 (youngest child).
My father - 1961 (youngest child).
    My maternal grandmother - 1934.
    My maternal grandfather - 1933.
    My paternal grandmother - 1938.
    My paternal grandfather - 1936.

And, of all those, the only one I don't know is my dad's mum (she died in 1989, and I was given her first name for my middle name).

    Sorry :(

I won't be posting my family - my mum was one of twelve, my dad one of ten. My mum married twice, my dad thrice. Loads of halfs and steps...I would need a bigger monitor to squeeze them all in! :D

Twin would-be sisters that were born prematurely and neither made it - I shamefully don't know the year, they'd be older than my brother.
    Mum - 1947
    Dad - 1941

I don't know any others off the top of my head.

What is it with DS and all these threads that do nothing but ask for personal details? If I were a paranoid cynic, I'd swear somebody was compiling a database of members and has now moved onto 'security question' answers.
