I like the theme tune to Octopussy, sung by Rita Coolidge:

What most people have put. Live and Let Die, Nobody Does It Better etc. Also feel The World Is Not Enough is underrated.

Agreed about The World Is Not Enough, it's one of my top 5 Bond themes.

I'm really not sure why people choose 'A View to a Kill', it sounds so dated and weak melodically.

    I would suggest:

    1. Goldfinger.
    2 Live and Let Die
    3 Nobody Does it Better
    4 Diamonds are Forever
    5 Skyfall

    1. You Only Live Twice - Nancy Sinatra

    2. Goldfinger - Shirley Bassey

    3. The James Bond Theme - John Barry

    4. From Russia With Love - Matt Monro

    5. The Look Of Love - Dusty Springfield
(from the 1967 non-canonical, spoof version of "Casino Royale" starring David Niven, Woody Allen and Peter Sellers)

    6. Live And Let Die - Paul McCartney

    7. Nobody Does It Better - Carly Simon.

All early and early-ish ones. The JB themes have been pretty boring since the 1980's (imo).

That's my favourite, though the lyricist gave up trying to set the movie's title to music.

    Live and Let Die
    Nobody Does It Better
    You Only Live Twice
    Goldfinger
    The Spy Who Loved Me

No mentions for Madge and 'Die Another Day' I see. Not a surprise though, it was only via looking at a list of Bond themes on an external site that I realised/remembered she'd even done a Bond theme! I can't even remember what it sounds like though.

 That didn't feel right when I typed it. In my defence it was late and I think I'd had one glass of wine too many. ;-) :D

I like Madonna's one. Madonna might be my fav artist of all time but I am not afraid to list her flaws and I don't think her bond song is as bad as others make it out to be.

The alicia keys one is an abomination.

"I wasn't looking, so now you found me"... ooh, bit of bush. :)

    You can't go wrong with;

    Live & Let Die
    Goldfinger
OHMSS (All the time in the world)
    Diamonds Are Forever
...and of course the John Barry theme

I also think Skyfall will be seen as classic Bond song, unlike many other Bond themes in the last few years
