Not to be confused with Don McLean (singer) and Don Maclean (comedian).

No, this Mike McClean was an unfunny and annoying TV roving reporter and comedian.

Very (not so much popular but) in yer face from about 1998 to about 2005, then disappeared. :o

    I think he's just trying to make ends meet these days.

    You two seem to have fond memories of him.

    But wasn't he a bit hated at the time?

    He was maybe a bit over chirpy but I never disliked him.

    What about Paul Hendy?

    I'm constantly amazed that with the internet, Google etc. people still have to ask 'Whatever happened to XYZ?' I found this in a matter of seconds.

    He's an arrogant tosser. I don't know if he's still with the same woman he was with when I came in to contact with him, but they were a pretty good fit since she was up her own arse as well.

    Used to watch him on Nickelodeon as a youngster, hated him then.

    More recently Mike has fronted "Essential" a new travel show for the Travel Channel. The series follows Mike's journey to Las Vegas, Canada, Ecuador, Peru & Mozambique. We encounter him fishing for piranhas, deep-sea diving and sampling the local cuisine.
    sounds a bit like someone's trying to get rid of him, permanently
