The animator of british cartoons has died aged 91.

He did animations for Roobarb, Noah and Nelly in... SkylArk and my personal favorite Henry's Cat.

Both Bob and Richard Briers in the same week. So sad.

Used to like Henry's Cat as a child. Named a blue rabbit hand puppet I had after Chris Rabbit in the cartoon.

Roobarb & Custard made me laugh in my younger days. Very sad Richard & Bob passing away in the same week.

Loved watching the Do-It Yourself Film Animation Show in the early 70s on Saturday mornings in the days before Swap Shop. He'd have guests like Terry Gilliam on showing how to make your own cartoons - I even gave it a go myself.

Such an inspiring, funny and much loved bloke. R.I.P.

RIP. He had his own brilliant style, utterly distinctive.
