We've been getting one every year for the little un since he was born.......I think we originally bought the first one from Harrods because it was the only one we could find with a date on it.
Two little uns now, so two baubles........not cheap.
Why not get a plain colourful bauble and get some paint or glittery paint and write the date on? Cuts the looking around for one out and its quality family time

Nice idea but it's too late for that, I'm afraid.
We figure they'll be old enough to appreciate the collections by the time they're about thirty.
I still haven't calculated the amount of square footage we're going to need to keep sixty baubles in their boxes but I bet it's a fair old chunk of the loft........really should've thought that one through.
Why they have Christmassyfied confectionary in the shops in September escapes me completely. Will they put it all away again to get the Hallowe'en stuff out?

Most shops I've been into are selling both at the same time, right now. It probably makes them more money that way.
I haven't noticed any yet but then i go out of my way to avoid it. When i volunteered in the british heart foundation charity shop they put the christmas cards out in August which i thought was ridiculous.
