It just makes me feel like not getting involved, it ruins it really.

We've been getting one every year for the little un since he was born.......I think we originally bought the first one from Harrods because it was the only one we could find with a date on it.

Two little uns now, so two baubles........not cheap. :(

Why not get a plain colourful bauble and get some paint or glittery paint and write the date on? Cuts the looking around for one out and its quality family time :D

I'm trying to find wrapping paper, but have been unsuccessful in my quest.

I've loads of presents to wrap, and nothing to wrap with. Grr!!

Spotted loads of Christmas food goodies today, managed to avoid temptation :D[/QUOTE

Wrapping paper on sale already in WH Smiths, saw it yesterday.

Nice idea but it's too late for that, I'm afraid.

We figure they'll be old enough to appreciate the collections by the time they're about thirty.

I still haven't calculated the amount of square footage we're going to need to keep sixty baubles in their boxes but I bet it's a fair old chunk of the loft........really should've thought that one through. :o

Why they have Christmassyfied confectionary in the shops in September escapes me completely. Will they put it all away again to get the Hallowe'en stuff out?

I don't like Harrods baubles, they're a bit meh. I love John Lewis and Selfridges offerings though; I've already bought some :o

Most shops I've been into are selling both at the same time, right now. It probably makes them more money that way.

I haven't noticed any yet but then i go out of my way to avoid it. When i volunteered in the british heart foundation charity shop they put the christmas cards out in August which i thought was ridiculous.
