The public haven't engaged despite her Radio 2 support. I would think she is more known for her engaging personality now. As an earlier poster said, you need to strike while the iron's hot in music, and she left it 6 years.
She's often seen in the media and on TV and she's had the support of a major radio station. Her popularity isn't with her music. Good luck to her; I'm sure she has a place in showbiz, but clearly it isn't musically as far as the public are concerned.

Oh dear, the sales figures are really poor. But I can't understand why she has taken so long to bring out an album.
I hope she does sell some more, she seems such a nice person and can sing well - but some Radio 2 album of the weeks fail to make the top 40.
Sadly, that isnt likely to happen. She was album of the week last week, when she was also playlisted. She's now outside the top 100 in the midweeks.
