Lee Thompson’s Saxophone went missing from the X Factor studios on Sunday night after the band performed on the Xtra Factor. Lee is distraught at the loss, he has had the instrument for many years, it is irreplaceable.
Should anyone have any information on the Selmer Silver Mark VI Saxophone’s whereabouts (Serial Number: M108370) please contact info@madness.co.uk
Information that leads to the safe return of the instrument will result in a Madness related reward.

Hardly surprising considering it went missing after they performed on one of the most chavviest shows on UK T.V.

    What a bunch of sellouts.

So Madness performing on one of the most viewed TV shows, to an audience that may have not heard of them before makes them sellouts?

I can't stand the show, but it will give them huge exposure

Well, yes... they put commercial means before credibility.

I hate Xfactor but they did the credible show when they appeared on Jools, there are not too many shows these days with an audience like xfactor who probably go and buy music.

It makes no difference. Their songs sound just the same as they did before they appeared on the show.

it's madness, a pop group with gimicky videos with a flying sax player, not pink floyd. the x factor audience is more befitting their style than some arty farty late night show on bbc 2

i guess you forgot about night fever? bottom rung television

I've never heard more rubbish in my life.

They are a pop band (a very good one to boot).

I'd say that the fact that they got a slot on the X-Factor as a good thing.

They are promoting the album on many programmes.
